Fish pump

With its revolutional principle of operation this pump represents a new and very efficient concept for the transport of fish from canals and ponds to sorting machines and as far as the point of dispatch. As a mobile fish loading and transporting device it is yet unsurpassed.

If need be, it can also be used as an ordinary water pump.

The pump is made of fibreglass, rustproof and equipped with a hydraulic motor and therefore light and easy to handle. Besides the pump the unit comprises an electrohydraulic pump (hydraulic compressor) with infinitely variable speed-control, a water valve, different pipes, connector pieces and multiple distributors.

The complete unit can be supplied on a trailer with rests for pipes and water valves.
The fish pump works below the surface and thus possesses several advantages:
Due to its lightweight construction it can be brought to the fish, there is no need to try to bring the fish to the pump.
No vacuum is produced, in fact the fish is kept under pressure which eliminates the danger of injury. Pipes or connector leaks, if there were any, have no consequence on the performance.

As the pump can be put up in any angle there are various possibilities of letting the fish enter. Direct connection to the pond outlet is possible as well as feeding from a dragnet or with a landing-net.
The speed of the pump, thus the quantity of fish transported can be regulated to meet the requirements. For example it can be adjusted to the speed of a subsequent sorting unit.

Instead of the included hydraulic unit, a mobile hydraulic compressor with a capacity of 20 l/min can be used. If you already possess one, your purchase cost can be reduced considerably. (Please consult our price list)
