Disinfection without chemistry and deposits
Unwanted microorganisms like spoiling organisms or pathogens (e.g. Listeria or Salmonella) in the production of food represent a great danger for the product safety. Normally used disinfectants are cost-intensive, produce unwanted deposits and can not be used during the production. For the solution of these problems the AGK Kronawitter GmbH, Wallersdorf, Germany, has developed the mobile CIP-station Hydrozon 60 for the disinfection with ozonated water especially for the food industry. The principle is easy: ozonated water is generated by the mobile CIP-Station only on the basis of water, air and power whereever it is needed. This disinfection water is generated the whole time in large amounts (up to 60 liters/minute) and can be used to sterilize all kinds of surfaces. Therefore, the user can control the microbial state during the production. It is possible to disinfect without disturbing residues because remaining ozone is decomposed to oxygen within minutes. Saving money and increasing the production and product safety. The Hydrozon 60 can be used stationary as well as a mobile device.
The Principle:
- By the Hydrozon 60, it is possible to generate a disinfection water only on the basis of water, oxygen and power
- Depending on the application, the disinfection water can be applied to a surface e.g. by a spray gun, spraying nozzles or in a dip tank.
- The disinfection water on the basis of water and oxygen destroys bacteria, virusus, funguses and spores in a very short time (minutes or even seconds).
- Remaining ozone is decomposed in some minutes to oxygen. No chloric disinfectant residues can be generated.
